I wanted to share something personal. Nothing polished, just something real.

Lately, I have been having a hard time focusing.

My mind feels scattered most of the time. I jump from one thought to another, one task to the next. Even when I try to rest, it does not feel like I truly slow down.

It is frustrating, especially when I know I should be able to do better.

There are moments I delay things. Moments I feel unmotivated. Moments I just do not want to do anything at all.

But I also know this is not burnout.

Physically, I have rested.

But mentally, it feels like there is always something running in the background.

And I am beginning to understand that maybe this kind of restlessness is not something sleep can fix.

Maybe it is something deeper.

Maybe it is something God is allowing for a reason.

And maybe, in some way, you have been feeling this too.

That quiet kind of unrest.
The kind that lingers even after you have tried to pause.

If that is you, I just want to remind you gently.

You are not alone in this.

Even the saints went through similar struggles.

Saint Thérèse of Lisieux experienced spiritual dryness.
Saint Ignatius of Loyola dealt with inner unrest and intrusive thoughts.
Saint Teresa of Ávila struggled with distraction in prayer.
Saint John of the Cross described seasons of deep interior darkness.

They were not exempt from mental or emotional battles.

But they remained.

And maybe that is the invitation for us too.

Not to have everything figured out.
Not to instantly fix what feels disoriented.

But to stay.

To keep showing up.
To keep trusting that God is still present, even here.

Even in the noise.
Even in the restlessness.

My point is this.

Maybe peace does not always begin with clarity.

Maybe sometimes, it begins with quiet trust
in the middle of what we do not yet understand.

PS: I want to sincerely thank you for being here and supporting me. It truly means a lot. 🤍

I would love to pray for you and your intentions. If there’s anything on your heart that you’d like me to include in my prayers, just hit reply and let me know.
